Rogers Hornsby began with a very detailed WARM-UP focusing on Stance, Breathing, Tone Production, Pitch Tuning.<div><br /></div><div>A Weekly "Old Songs" Review was conducted by leading the chorus in the following Barbershop Polecat songs:</div><div><ul><li>My Wild Irish Rose</li><li>You Tell Me Your Dream</li><li>Shine On Me</li></ul>In addition to the polecat songs, the chorus also worked on the popular "tag" in the back of the polecat book, "Give Me Your Hand"</div><div><br /></div><div>At this time Jim McClelland handed out the music for "The Stars Spangled Banner" was passed out and Rogers played each part for the first time.
